Boston Children's is still the No. 1 pediatric hospital in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report

According to a news release, in addition to its hospital locations in Milwaukee and Neenah, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin has more than 15 specialty outpatient clinics located throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and the Fox Valley that provide local care for kids from birth to young adulthood.

The Boston institution, for the sixth consecutive year, took the No. 1 spot in the 2019-2020 rankings put together by U.S. News & World Report. Their expertise covers virtually all pediatric conditions, including cancer, heart disease, neurological disorders, pulmonology, diabetes and endocrinology, as well as the care of critically ill newborns.

Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is among the best in the nation.

"This is a wonderful validation of the tremendous work that our clinical teams have performed over the past few years as we work to unify efforts across our hospitals", said Michael Anderson, MD, MBA, a pediatrician and president of UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. Ten of those hospitals earned a place on The Best Children's Hospitals 2018-19 Honor Roll by accumulating points for being highly ranked in many specialties. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (tie) 3. Children's Hospital Los Angeles 6. Nationwide Children's Hospital (Columbus, Ohio) 8. UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh 9. Children's National Medical Center (Washington, D.C.) 7. Johns Hopkins Children's Center\ 10.

Cincinnati Children's continues to rank at the top spot of all OH children's hospitals. They do the rankings annually to help families of children with rare or life-threatening illnesses. The only other OH pediatric hospital to earn a spot on U.S. News' "honor roll" was Columbus' Nationwide Children's Hospital, which ranked No. 7.
