The release of Disney's latest Classic remake - The Lion King - is edging closer and closer and, with the official premiere going down in Los Angeles right now, the involvement of Beyoncé in the roll out of the event has gotten larger. "Spirit, ' which also holds chances of being considered for Academy Awards is part of an album named "The Lion King: The Gift" that the 'Halo" singer is producing and performing herself along with the other artists, reported Fox News.

Beyonce has also produced the album.

"This is sonic cinema", said Beyonce of the album. This is a new experience of storytelling. "Authenticity and heart were important to me".

Beyonce, on Wednesday, treated fans with a new song "Spirit" from the film.

That fact can't be put into proper perspective more than how Beyoncé Knowles, one of the world's biggest pop stars alive, incorporated Swahili lyrics into her latest song.

"Massive congrats to @Beyonce on winning the Best Original Song Oscar for #Spirit", wrote @Laura_Kramer.

Nearly more anticipated than the release of The Lion King could be what Beyoncé will wear to promote the live-action Disney film.

The soundtrack will drop on July 11 and feature a version of Sir Elton John's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" by the "Halo" hitmaker and Donald Glover, who voices Nala's love interest Simba in the film.

The Lion King: The Gift, will feature new recordings by Beyonce, and features "a lovely, multi-genre symphony, steeped in African influences from various corners of the continent, with unexpected collaborations, pulsating rhythms and crisp production that celebrate the African diaspora".
