Star Wars Sith Trooper- Hot Toys

Another Star Wars movie, another Stormtrooper redesign. As described by and Lucasfilm's official The Star Wars Show, this new red uniform serves as "a modern and more menacing look befitting its namesake". "And it has some subtle ties to previous stormtrooper designs, which I think fans will enjoy discovering".

That's not to say they haven't evolved a great deal over the decades, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will bring us the newest iteration of the Stormtrooper, the Sith Trooper. It will include nine different costumes featured in the Star Wars film.

Along with the reveal of the new trooper, they announced the character will be featured on a number of collectible items from a Funko Pop! to baseball caps and Hot Toys figurine. And if you happen to be at Comic-Con next week, you'll have a shot at getting the first Star Wars Sith Trooper merchandise, including figures and more.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Lucasfilm will celebrate the history of stormtrooper design — and the future. And all of it is simply early access, rather than truly exclusive, ahead of a wider release later this year with the rest of the Rise of Skywalker toys and merchandise. It will be available at Booth #1929 and the early release edition will be sold for $230.

That's the new Black Series figure that will be available at the Hasbro booth for $32. Star Wars fans will also recognize the name derives from the Knights of the Old Republic game. However, their numbers would grow as Revan began conquering planets. But the Sith Trooper is something unique, combining the regimented Empire and the darker, spiritual might of the Sith, presaging the return of Emperor Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker. That regimen culled the weak and inspired fear into each Sith Trooper that spurred them into battle.

What do you make of this new Sith Trooper design?
