Barcelona has signed English wonderkid Louie Barry from West Brom after he rejected a £2.7million move to Paris Saint-Germain.

West Brom, on the other hand, will receive £235,000 in compensation.

He joins Morgan Rogers in leaving the club, with Manchester City agreeing a fee with the Baggies for the England under-17 attacker - with his move expected to be sealed this week.

They offered him a one-year scholarship followed by a two-year professional deal with the promise of fast-tracking him to the first team, but he reluctantly turned the proposal down.

The 16-year-old had been offered an array of lucrative offers to leave the Hawthorns this summer - even undergoing a medical at PSG, however, Barry will now be joining the Spanish champions.

He was given a chance to impress in Barca's La Masia academy - equivalent to the U18 football while he was playing at West Brom.

Previous year he scored 10 goals in five games for England U15s during a tournament in Italy.

Barry first rose to prominence previous year when he scored 10 goals in five games for England Under-15s at a tournament in Italy.

He proved to be a real loss for Republic of Ireland though who secured his services before the youngster changed alliance earlier this year.

Sancho came of age last season with 13 goals and 19 assists in all competitions.

He's one of a number of England youth internationals to complete big moves this week.
