Though early claims of Boyce's passing appeared to be from an apparent seizure in his sleep, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner performed an autopsy to search for the official cause of death and have yet to determine the cause.

"Preliminary information suggests the death occurred under natural circumstances", a press release from the coroner states (via CNN).

The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date.

"We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely hard time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother".

"I was lucky enough to share a few moments with Cameron Boyce on set, at the White House and on a service project, enough time to recognize that not only did he have incredible talent, but also an incredible heart", Obama said.

Victor Boyce posted the photo, which shows the Disney star looking at the camera, to Instagram on Wednesday. I miss him terribly. "I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I'm feeling but no one is immune to tragedy", the 20-year-old's father, Victor Boyce, began.

"There are no words to describe how moved we are by the tremendous outpouring of love and support from our family, friends, and the world", the Boyces shared. "Thank you, everyone, for encircling us with your love and respect of Cameron and concern for our family", Libby and Victor said.

He also starred in "Mirrors", "Eagle Eye" with Shia LaBeouf and "Grown Ups" with Adam Sandler. He played Cruella De Vil's teenage son, Carlos, in Disney Channel's "Descendants".
