Creator Ryan Murphy announced the castings on social media telling fans, "To celebrate the first day of filming the NINTH Season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, here's the official 1984 cast announcement along with some unbelievable 80s lewks".

In the video, they all sport their '80s finest as Dan Hartman's "I Can Dream About You" (which, fittingly, was released in 1984) plays.

While we've known for some time now that Murphy was taking his long-running horror anthology series to the tackiest of decades for its ninth season - and prepping to go full-on period-specific, slasher-flick-style to boot - we've finally gotten our first look at just how '80s this '80s-tinged season will be. Variety reported that due to her involvement with the Murphy-produced Netflix series "Ratched", "AHS" favorite Sarah Paulson will only have a small part this year. It's titled American Horror Story: 1984, and-as the name suggests-it'll take its inspiration from horror movies of the 1980s. What do you think about the cast members revealed so far?

Pose star Angelica Ross will also join the show, along with actor and athlete Gus Kenworthy. Morrison is remembered by most as choir teacher Will Schuester, although the "Glee" alum may not be easily recognized in the teaser to those who watched the Fox teen series. Featuring an 80s-themed camp setting, you can check out the videos below!

There are plenty of "American Horror Story" stars returning for the 1984 installment. Here's hoping he has as much fun with all those genre tropes as he has in seasons past.

The ninth season of American Horror Story, entitled 1984, is set to premiere on FX on Wednesday, September 18 at 10 p.m. EST!
