"We're in for some extreme summertime conditions", said National Weather Service at State College meteorologist Charles Ross. "It's going to be pushing 90 every day".

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny with showers and storms.

"We'll know more as we get closer", Ross said. "It doesn't look like it will be much different than what we saw last week".

Wed: High: 98 Low: 75 Mostly sunny; breezy, hot. Right now it looks like this storm will bring flooding rainfall to the MS and Ohio Valley, however Kansas will remain on the dry side of this tropical system.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible, with a high temperature of 93 degrees.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear skies and mild temperatures continue, with a low of 69 degrees.

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting clear and sunny skies during the day, with temperatures reaching a high near 81 degrees.

Monday: Partly to mostly sunny. It will the start to get cloudy late in the afternoon, with there being a 40 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms in the evening.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low of 70 degrees.

It's hot and humid, that is true, but a dry and sunny weekend is a welcome one.
