For those unaware, the company will announce the Asus ROG Phone 2 in China next week.

There are two models spotted on TENAA - ASUS_I001DA and ASUS_I001DB.

Trickles of information about the second-generation Asus gaming phone, the ROG 2, have been spilling out across the internet in recent weeks.

The ASUS ROG Phone 2 specs have been confirmed ahead of the device's launch, thanks to TENAA.

The smartphone measures 170.99 x 77.6 x 9.78mm and weighs 240g. The listing also revealed some of its features and specifications of the upcoming phone. It will also be equipped with a widescreen display with a diagonal of 6.59 inches-and energy-consuming battery as much as 5800 mAh. We already know that this screen will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and we estimate that it will have a resolution of 1080p. For comparison, the present Asus ROG Phone has a 6-inch full HD Ultra responsive display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Asus ROG Phone 2 will be powered by an octa-core SoC that will be clocked at 2.95GHz and it will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM options. The listing also shows thinner bezels on the sides, which is thicker at top and bottom of the front display.

The design matches the ASUS ROG Phone 2 leaked live photos which were posted on Weibo. This will be paired with LED flash.

"The other aspect is the 5800mAh battery, compared to the 4000mAh of the original model".

Given that the first ROG Phone was unveiled in June of a year ago, we can probably expect its successor to make its debut sometime soon.
