In it, the CNN anchor is arguing with a man who called him "Fredo" - which was the main cause of the altercation.

"You did not think that... stand up like a man", he seethes.

"No, punk *ss b*tches from the right call me 'Fredo, '" Cuomo said. "I'm an anchor on CNN", Cuomo said.

"Fredo is from the 'Godfather, ' he was a weak brother and the use of it to an Italian is disparaging", he continues. "It's an insult to your fucking people. It's an insult to your f**king people!" "It's like the n-word for us", Cuomo says. "Is that a cool f--ing thing?"

"You're a much more reasonable guy in person than you seem to be on television", the first man tells Cuomo.

In response to Mr. Trump also insisting "Fredo" isn't "the N word for Italians, it just means you're the dumb brother", Mr. Dornic trolled the president's family.

"Well, you're gonna have a big f--in' problem", Cuomo shot back.

The CNN anchor was caught on video flying into an abject rage at a man for calling him "Fredo" - an apparent insult referencing Fredo Corleone, the weak, dopey brother in "The Godfather".

"I don't want to have a problem with you, man", the man repeated. Cuomo has Italian heritage, both his mother and father being of Italian origin. "I'll f--in throw you down these stairs like a f--in' punk". But Cuomo encourages the man to "own" what he said.

When the man facing Cuomo asked, "So why don't you do it", Cuomo replied, "So you can f*cking sue?" Cuomo says, inviting the man to take a swing at him.

"You didn't know what you were doing when you called me Fredo?". I'm f--in' right here.

"I'll f-ing ruin your s-t".

The video ends with multiple people attempting to separate the two men. The channel reported that the man was a "news fan" and simply wanted to take a photo with the prominent TV personality when Cuomo burst into his tirade.

CNN's Matt Dornic responded to a tweet from Donald Trump Jr. that showed the incident involving Cuomo: "Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup".

"I assume @cnn not available for comment", Donald Trump Jr. tweeted.
