Earlier today, a Twitter leaker (Tweaker, as we shall now call them) stated that the OnePlus 7T Pro would have an October 15 release date, but a source with more details has called bullshit.

However, this is no longer believed to be true.

Now that the OnePlus 7 Pro is behind us, some of us are already enjoying it, and some of you are not yet operating its 90Hz refresh rate display. The company has accustomed us to two flagship devices per year, one in the first half, and a second, T-model, in the second half of the year, and this year's second could arrive mid-October, if the chatter is telling the truth.

That said, there are no clear rumors yet of what the OnePlus 7T could be.

It's expected to come with either the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset we saw in the latest phone from OnePlus, or possibly the slightly upgraded Snapdragon 855 Plus, and it's likely to come with 8GB of RAM minimum too.

Other upgrades are now unclear, but it may be we see an even bigger focus on 5G from OnePlus considering it was one of the first companies to try and tackle the technology on a consumer product.
