With the completion of the WNBA's 2019 regular season, it is official - Washington Mystics' Elena Delle Donne becomes the first player in the league's history to join the 50-40-90 club.

During the course of the season, she hit 50 percent plus from the field (220-of-427), 40 percent plus from beyond the arc (52-of-121) and hit over 90 percent of her free throws (114-of -117).

Current and former National Basketball Association luminaries took to social media Sunday night to congratulate Delle Donne on the unprecedented feat.

Washington (26-8) had clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the WNBA playoffs by virtue of its win over Dallas on Friday, while Chicago was hoping to grab the No. 4 seed. Those games are set for Wednesday night and will feature the No. 5 seed Chicago Sky against the No. 8 seed Phoenix Mercury, followed by the No. 6 seed Seattle Storm taking on the No. 7 seed Minnesota Lynx.

Washington led 56-39 at the half, but Chicago cut the lead to six in the final minute of the third quarter.

Three-point sharpshooter Steph Curry added to the cacophony of congratulations, as Delle Donne's three-point percentage to complete the stat relied on the final game.

Diamond DeShields scored 16 points, and Allie Quigley and Kahleah Copper each scored 13 points for the Sky.
