Although longtime SNL favorite Leslie Jones will be missing from our screens when season 45 of the the late-night variety show kicks off on September 28, viewers will have three new hilarious cast members to look forward to getting to know. They join after Leslie Jones exited the show to concentrate on film and other projects. "SNL Season 45 launches Saturday, Sept. 28 (NBC, 11:30/10:30c) with host Woody Harrelson and musical guest Billie Eilish". She spent five years on SNL and has forthcoming movie roles, a standup special and hosting a new Supermarket Sweep reboot.

NBC announced on Thursday that Chloe Fineman, Shane Gillis and Bowen Yang will all be featured players throughout the 2019-20 season. Yang is now the first full time Asian castmember, and he seems like a brilliant choice to help round out the cast.

Yang joined "SNL" last season as a staff writer, and is the host of a podcast called "Las Culturistas".

And from the world of sketch comes Chloe Fineman a Groundlings vet and a former New Face from Just for Laughs in 2018. Her television credits include "Jane the Virgin" and "Search Party".

Gillis was recognized this year as a New Face at the Just for Laughs Festival. He cohosts Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast and appears regularly on The Bonfire on Sirius XM. He has upcoming standup dates through November according to his official website.
