Levi ran for a New Hampshire congressional seat in 2018 and Bernie has run for multiple campaigns, including the 2020 presidential campaign, and she has often been by their side with encouragement.

That day, Sanders' daughter-in-law Rainè Riggs died, at 46. "Bernie Sanders is as committed - more so, even more now than he always has been, if that's even possible".

Riggs complained of feeling ill weeks ago and was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer following a battery of tests just last week.

"We promised this to her and so we will do it and hopefully every day the pain will become a little less. Her last moment was spent with her No. 1 cheerleader, her mother, holding her hand and whispering in her ear how much she loved her", according to the obituary. Riggs' obituary says she met Levi Sanders while the two worked at an emergency food shelter in Vermont.

He later shared a video of himself with his wife, Jane O'Meara Sanders, in which they both thanked everyone who sent their well-wishes. "It is what she wanted", they added. She also owned Riggs Geriatric Psychology in Windsor, Vermont.

Other details about her death are not clear. So, and I should have listened to those symptoms, I should have listened to those symptoms.

"Sen. Bernie Sanders: I don't think it helps, or hurts, but I'll tell you one thing that I look forward to doing". I must confess, I was dumb.

Venturing outside his Vermont home on Tuesday, the 78-year-old senator is slowly easing back into the 2020 presidential race, telling reporters he "should have listened to those symptoms".

"We were doing, you know, in some cases five or six meetings a day, three or four rallies and town meetings and meeting with groups of people", Sanders said about his campaign prior to his heart attack.

Sanders said that in the last month or two he was more tired than usual and "I should have listened to those symptoms". "So, and I should have listened to those symptoms ..." he continued.
