Eagles announce ‘Hotel California’ tour with orchestra and choir

The Eagles are going big in 2020 with a 12-date "Hotel California" tour.

Each night, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Deacon Frey and Vince Gill will play the songs from the album from beginning to end with an accompanying orchestra and choir.

The tour begins February 7 in Atlanta, Georgia - hitting New York City, Dallas, Houston and San Francisco, before finishing up in Inglewood, California on April 18.

The band recently performed the album in its entirety at shows in Las Vegas, the first time in its history that it had played the whole album in concert.

Hotel California is the third best-selling USA album of all time, and became the band's definitive LP. The group - now featuring Deacon Frey and Vince Gill - will bring an orchestra and choir to each city they visit. Following its release, it topped the charts and earned two Grammy Awards for "New Kid in Town" and "Hotel California".

Tickets for the Eagles' Hotel California tour will go on sale to American Express® Card Members via presale from Monday, October 14, at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, October 17, at 10 p.m. local time.

There's still plenty of room at the Hotel California, and the Eagles are filling any vacancies with a 2020 tour.
