A suspect has been arrested in the shooting at the New England Pentecostal Church, Roark said.

Authorities responded to the New England Pentecostal Church in Pelham, a town of about 13,000 on the border of MA, around 10 a.m. At least two people were shot and at least two people were injured, according to WMUR.

Pelham police confirmed that the shooter has been apprehended and ambulances, state and local police are now on the scene.

He said Saturday's shooter arrived at the church after the wedding began.

Witnesses' on-scene still report "heavy police presence" as of early Saturday afternoon, with one person allegedly in police custody. The church is located at 955 Bridge Street in Pelham.

Pelham is about 40 miles south of Concord, New Hampshire's capital, on the border with MA.

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu said in a post on Twitter that state officials were at the scene and that the state would "provide all necessary resources to support the community and our local partners".

The New England Pentecostal Ministries had already endured one tragedy, after one of its ordained ministers, Luis Garcia, was found shot to death inside his home last week.

A spokeswoman for Lowell General Hospital in MA confirmed that the hospital was treating one victim from the shooting, but did not release any additional information.

The shooting delayed a planned noon funeral for a minister at the church who was shot dead in a separate shooting earlier in the month. A man has been charged in his murder and is jailed.
