Charlize Theron and 'Bombshell' Cast Unveil New Trailer for Fox News Film

Charlize Theron plays Megyn Kelly in Bombshell, a drama examining the women from Fox News who stood up to former network chairman and CEO Roger Ailes.

Kidman, 52, stars as Gretchen Carlson and Charlize, 44, plays Megyn Kelly, while Margot, 29, stars as a composite character named Kayla Pospisil.

In addition to the three leads, the cast includes Alice Eve as Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt, Alanna Ubach as Justice With Judge Jeanine host Jeanine Pirro, Allison Janney as Ailes' legal counsel Susan Estrich, Mark Duplass as novelist Douglas Brunt, Malcolm McDowell as media mogul Rupert Murdoch, John Lithgow as Ailes and Connie Britton as his wife, Beth. Considering that Carlson sued Roger Ailes for sexual harassment in 2016 and Kelly admitted in her book, Settle For More, that the Fox News boss sexually harassed her, it's clear as to what binds these three together.

She said: "I feel fortunate, and I just always try to go back to the work". "I thought, 'Oh god!" Did I mess something up in her trailer?

Theron, Kidman, and Robbie also appeared on Tuesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where they discussed their involvement with the project (and their real-life counterparts). Are you mad at me?' She said, 'No. Charlize's production company Denver & Delilah helped bring the film to fruition, and she's also a producer on the film.

Charlize then clarified: 'So we used a lot of source material in telling this story. "As a team, we made a decision to protect our sources", Theron told DeGeneres, adding that Kelly hasn't yet reached out to her regarding the project, though she's "fully aware of the film".
