Lately we've been seeing a lot of the Friends gang reuniting, which is obviously making us think one thing. reunion episode?

Fans of the show Friends went berserk on Thursday when Courtney Cox posted a selfie of her with co-star Matthew Perry as they had reunited for lunch.

'That experience set the bar for the rest of my career and it taught me to surround myself with supportive people who make me better. Aniston who herself broke the records when she joined the photo-sharing app said, "I know!"

Their co-star Lisa Kudrow commented: "Lucky lucky".

In the picture Jennifer, Courteney and Lisa were joined by their former cast-mates Matt LeBlanc, 52, David Schwimmer, 53, and Matthew Perry, 50.

Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet also commented, writing: "High quality content!"

Cox and Perry's character's Monica and Chandler starred on the comedy as part of a group of 20-something singles living in the same apartment building in New York City.

By the end of 10 seasons, Monica and Chandler had fallen in love, got married, and moved out of New York City to raise their adopted twins.

Jennifer was honoured at the Beverly Hills event with the Artists Inspiration Award and her friends - on and off screen - were there to show their support.

Fans are now speculating that they are planning an onscreen reunion.

"It's incredible", Aniston said of getting love and support from her besties.

Aniston shared a Friends reunion pic of her own when she joined Instagram last month - and soon after revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that the cast has a possible project up their sleeves.

'It was a very rare environment where there was truly no competition, no egos, we were just six relatively unknown actors learning on the job together and thanking our lucky stars to be on this rocket ship of a show'. "We're working on something".
