Ryan had only limited participation in Friday's practice.

A bye week helped Ryan recover after a sprained right ankle forced him to miss his first game since 2009 in the Falcons' loss to Seattle two weeks ago.

The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons published their inactive reports ahead of Sunday's Week 10 game, and starting Saints left tackle Terron Armstead is not among them.

Quinn talked about what he has seen from Ryan this week coming off the injury.

With Week 9 off to continue to rest his thumb, Brees looks to continue his prolific play against the struggling Falcons, a team that could arguably be winless at this point of the season. He leads the National Football League with a 70.9 completion percentage.

The VFL has rushed for 373 yards and a touchdown in 2019 and he's also a threat in the New Orleans passing game as he has 33 receptions for 276 yards and a touchdown. The interceptions are troubling and are way up from last season, but Atlanta has been playing from behind most of the season and that makes it tougher on a quarterback. The defense has been poor.

Matt Ryan will return to the Falcons' lineup this week.
