Minnesota moves into top 10 of AP college football poll

After a drubbing of Maryland, future opponent and rival Ohio State moved up from No. 4 to 2.

As for Notre Dame, their 38-7 win at Duke wasn't enough to keep them in the top 15.

In the latest Amway Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports, there was a lot of movement, but it didn't affect MI directly.

Wake Forest, Kansas State and San Diego State fell out.

Penn State was a big dropper after losing to Minnesota.

Although it has no direct correlation to the College Football Playoff rankings, it's a good use to try and see how the committee may see things.

It is still unknown whether or not IN will be ranked IN the College Football Playoff rankings, but regardless, this is a great accomplishment for the entire program. The Hoosiers are the new No. 25.

Michigan State does not exist in the same universe as the Amway Coaches Poll.
