The Echo Show 8 Just Got Its First Discount

Connect your Fire TV and Echo to the same network through one Amazon account. Amazon says that Echo users with the Alexa Home Theater System can set up 1.0 and 2.0 configurations.

The app will show you the Set Up Audio System option that you need to select and then tap Home Theatre on the next screen. The feature is accessible within the Alexa app under the Devices menu.

Select your Fire TV device and then "Next" to name your new Home Theatre system. Rather than just being a smart speaker like the majority of Echo devices, the Echo Show also has a built-in screen that lets you view your photos, movies and shows from services like Prime Video and Hulu, weather forecasts, and more. Not everyone will have an external sound system for their smart TV but there's a high possibility that a Fire TV owner will have an Echo device or is planning to buy one in the future.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Amazon's Alexa Home Theatre System lets configure wireless speaker without home theatre.

Go to Settings Display & Sounds Home Theatre System.

Note that if you already had a Fire TV Cube set up to control a sound bar, you'll also see a warning to say that its volume buttons will now control the volume level on your Echo, not your sound bar.

The new feature works with the Fire TV Stick 4K, third-generation Fire TV, and second-generation Fire TV Cube.

Lip Sync Tuning: Use this location if you notice inconsistencies involving the audio you hear and the action observed on monitor.

Sure, you might be able to save a bit by choosing the smaller Echo Show 5 on sale for $79.99, but the improvements made to the new Echo Show 8 are easily worth the extra $20 today.

On the off chance that you pre-requested the Echo Show 8 when Amazon previously declared it back toward the finish of September, we've contacted the organization to affirm you'll get it for $100, rather than $130. Join our Cord Cutting Tech Support Facebook Group for help.
