Homeless man throws huge bucket of hot diarrhoea in woman’s face

Yikes, talk about some bad bad luck.

A U.S. woman has shared the horrific moment a homeless man poured a bucket of "hot liquid" human waste on her on a busy Los Angeles street, saying the moment changed her life but she still has empathy for her attacker.

Heidi Van Tassel was on her way home from a Thai restaurant in Hollywood when the suspect, Jere Blessings, pulled her out of her auto and into the middle of the street.

A woman has been left traumatised after a homeless man threw a bucket of hot diarrhoea on her face. How exactly he managed to get it hot?

She said she was rushed to Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, where she was tested for infectious diseases, NBC4 reported. "I was soaked, and it was coming off my eyelashes and into my eyes", she said.

Van Tassel said paramedics who treated her on scene said there was so much putrid liquid on her that it looked like "the man was saving it up for a month".

'It was all inside my auto because it was so much.

The victim claims that the Los Angeles Police Department told her that they would investigate the crime, but that her phone calls to the department repeatedly went unanswered. "He just kept pouring it and splattering it all over me", she continued.

Heidi Van Tassel has been left traumatised by the incident.

"It's so traumatic. The PTSD that I'm dealing with is beyond anything that I've ever felt", Van Tassel said.

The attacker, identified as Jere Blessings, was charged with battery. However, she doesn't believe Blessings needs a jail sentence, rather mental health care. Blessings has "schizophrenia and psychotic disorders" and was sent to a residential facility for people with mental health disorders for two months, before being released in August.

This is pretty terrifying, especially since homeless attacks can happen pretty much everywhere.
