‘Marvel’s Runaways’ To End With Season 3 On Hulu

The series will be available exclusively on Hulu and will be premiering on December 13rd.

But as Deadline reports, Runaways will indeed be ending after its upcoming third season, though the trade does note that "the story is said to come to a natural ending point", so at least there'll be no weird, unsatisfying cliffhangers to deal with.

The dramatic preview also teases the arrival of Tyrone/Cloak (Aubrey Joseph) and Tandy/Dagger (Olivia Holt) from the recently canceled Marvel's Cloak & Dagger.

In Season 3, the Runaways find themselves frantically searching for their captured friends Chase, Gert, and Karolina. If that's not enough, the kids must go head to head with an unstoppable enemy who has targeted Leslie - and the child she's now carrying. There's also still one missing member of the Magistrate's family, but who is it?

The upcoming third season of Marvel's Runaways will be its last. Nico draws them all into a dark realm where its ruler, Morgan le Fay, played by Elizabeth Hurley, is much more nefarious than anyone the kids have yet to face.

Disney+ is set to become the home of live action Marvel series, with multiple projects coming in the years ahead including Loki, Hawkeye and WandaVision.

After Marvel announced the end of Freeform series Cloak & Dagger, it felt like only a matter of time before another of its shows about magical teens-Hulu's Runaways-suffered the same fate.
