Scarlett Moffatt has been dropped from her role as co-presenter on Saturday Night Takeaway.

Scarlett Moffatt won't feature as a contributor in the 2020 series of Saturday Night Takeaway.

ITV has now announced that she will not be reprising the role when the show returns next year.

Scarlett has since spoken about her discontinuation from the role, saying she has no hard feelings and the show will still be "amazing" without her. This shall be fair Ant and Dec and Stephen Mulhern who will return to host Ant vs Dec'.

But she will not be returning with her "heroes" Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly when the show returns next year.

MailOnline contacted representatives of Scarlett for comment.

Meanwhile, a source close to the former Queen of the Jungle explained that while she enjoyed her time on the show, she was excited about some other projects she has in the works.

Moffatt recently appeared in Channel 4 documentary The British Tribe Next Doorway.

And Scarlett herself hinted at large things to return as she took to her Instagram tales on Monday.
