Z's been unbelievable, she messages me the whole time to check up on me.

"I think people should remember this is a TV show orchestrated to get big reactions out of big characters, and maybe take it a tad less seriously (sic)".

But Haskell said: "The food, the sooner you have the answer, the sooner they turn back up".

The pair have change into divisive figures amongst followers after clashing with Maxwell on a number of events, prompting some viewers to model them "bullies".

Ex-rugby union player Haskell was also accused of bullying when he branded the rest of the celebrities "a circus of stupidity" because they wanted to debate the answer to a Dingo Dollar question rather than making a snap decision. "At least I am first at something".

Cliff replied: "I'm quite happy to be in all week and do a trial every day", with James interrupting him, saying: "Yeah we can all do that - that's the point, it's for us to make sure that everyone gets a fair shot to do it".

He said: "I love the man. everyone is hugely into their families in there but I think both of us feel it at the same level and got on the same rhythm. Despite his "hangry" moments, I actually think he's doing a fantastic job and I'm really proud".

Chloe Madeley has jumped to the defence of her husband James Haskell after he was seen causing conflict in the I'm A Celebrity.Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, claiming the show was being "orchestrated" to get a reaction out of him.

'Then one day we'd had an all-day drinking thing and she was so much fun and good with the boys that I just turned round and said "you are awesome and I love you" and I meant it and have done ever since'. "We're if fact be told same, ' he admitted, before going on to add that they clashed because they're each 'family men".

"Our emotions were in sync so when he was sad I was also sad and that's what happened". "I love Ian, he's an incredible guy".
