Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legend has received a number of updates in the last couple of weeks, a few of which had made players unhappy with the state of the meta. Once players are ready to begin, they'll choose their drop point with the Jumpmaster system, giving each squad full control over exactly where they drop in. In celebration of its successful release, the developer, Respawn Entertainment has introduced a new skin that is inspired by the beep-bopping BD-1. Finally, look good in the Apex Games with the launch of the Apex Legends merch & apparel shop.

Apex Legends' latest update, which increases the level cap, hit the PC version of the game a bit before consoles. Assuming you're at level 100, there's a total of 199 loot boxes that you can unlock as you progress through the ranks. The patch will take the max level from 100 to 500. Under the new system, we've reduced the rate at which XP required to level up increases from levels 20 to 58.

TL;DR - Player Level Progression Changes.

Reaching max level before the change left players with nothing to unlock for the rest of the season.

Moreover, the dev increased the number of Apex Packs that can be earned through gameplay, where players can now earn nearly 60 packs by level 100, as opposed to earlier 45. You will have many opportunities to obtain these charming weapons by simply playing the game. Unique Player Level Gun Charms inspired by the new level badges can be earned by players at levels 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500.

Anyway, players logging into Apex Legends from 3 December 2019 to 14 January 2020 will be getting a free BD-1-flavoured skin called BP-1 Pathfinder.

The notorious Peacekeeper is perhaps Apex Legends' most broken weapon, but a new patch nerfs it down a reasonable amount. What's more, it's maybe one of the most easy and convenient little content pick-ups ever in Apex Legends. All together it creates a battle royale experience unlike any other, complete with Respawn's commitment to top-notch quality and fun.
