US health official hopeful some evacuees may be released from quarantine today

The CDC confirmed to UPI that the affected person was one of the a whole bunch of USA evacuees beneath quarantine on the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, Calif.

A health ministry statement said: "As of February 13, 2020, we will urgently implement the task of isolation and quarantine of the epidemic area in Son Loi commune".

Britain confirmed its ninth case of coronavirus yesterday as Public Health England confirmed a woman, who had recently flown into London from China, was being treated at Guy's and St Thomas' hospital in central London. Initial tests for coronavirus came up negative for the patient, and they were released back to the military base for the rest of their quarantine with others on the flight.

But until the mistake was detected, she was temporarily return to MCAS Miramar.

Both that patient and the briefly released evacuee "are doing well and have minimal symptoms", UC San Diego Health said.

Wilson said he is concerned about cross-contamination of present quarantined evacuees. Wilson said there aren't any private testing kits out there.

More than 1,300 people have died from the virus and more than 60,015 people have been infected.

"In order to safeguard patient privacy, UC San Diego Health followed normal security protocols using pseudonyms for patients under investigation".

A difference in labeling by the medical center and the CDC was also involved.

The hospital sent their specimens to a CDC lab in Atlanta for testing.

"Allow me to highlight there wasn't any error of this evaluation".

"We're working with state and federal companions to take each precaution to guard this neighborhood, and can take rapid motion if any individual being monitored develops signs of 2019-nCov", he stated in a letter to the local people. "We had been requesting that reports be noted back", Dr. Branden added.

All four of the returned evacuees, Skinner said, were wearing masks during their trips back to the base Sunday. The girl isn't considered to be extremely infectious and just has a cough, according to officers.

"Because these individuals were in Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak where there is intense and escalating community-wide spread of this novel coronavirus, we consider them at high risk of exposure", stated Dr. Christopher Braden, Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The second flight carried 65 people to the base. It was unknown which group the infected patient belonged to.

These were the details of the news China evacuee tests negative, then positive for virus for this day.

Messonnier has said that the mix-up with the first evacuee was unrelated to the test kit issue.
